ALC1272G-51 supports 72-port ADSL2/2+ interfaces in the same space dimension of ALC1248G-51. The line card can be used in IES-5000M/IES-5000M/6000M.

It has been defined as the cost down version of ALC1248G-51. 2.With ALC1272G-51, IES-5000M can provide 576 ADSL ports, IES-5005M can provide 288 ADSL ports, and IES-6000M can provide even up to 1152 ADSL ports, which is usually the per frame capacity requirement for CO equipments . 3.Basically, the per port price of ALC1272G-51 will be lower than that of ALC1248G-51, since the latter provides higher system bandwidth to subscribers.
