	ONU-6040B Series	GEPON Optical Network Unit with 4 Fast Ethernet Ports GEPON is a point-to-multi-point optical-access network that enables the service provider to share one optical fiber between 32 users. The operator can amortize the cost of equipment and infrastructure between those users. ZyXEL’s GEPON system consists of an OLT-1308S-22 (OLT, Optical Line Termination) located in the operator's central office and ONU-6040B-22, (ONU the Optical Network Units), located at the customer premises for FTTH connections, The OLT-1308S-22 is connected by a single fiber to an optical splitter, which supplies the optical signal up to 32 ONU.
	ONU-6040BF Series	GEPON Optical Network Unit ONU-6040BF-22 is an ONU which supports 4 Fast Etherner ports, 1-port F-type connector for RF overlay and 1 port GEPON port to service residence, SOHO and SMB users. ONU-6040BF-22 is for 1000BASE-PX-20, the maximum transmission distance is 20km.
